Qahwah House is the 87th cafe we have visited on our travels and we were absolutely blown away! They use 100% organic beans sourced directly from family farms in Yemen. This is no new venture either. The family has been mastering their trade for 8 generations, so you are guaranteed a top notch, high quality experience. The stunning interior perfectly balances spaciousness with cozy elegance. I honestly felt transported to another country and no loud music was a blessing! So thank you. The customer service was just exceptional. Zenah greeted us with a beautiful smile and offered recommendations to help us narrow down the menu. A lovely young lady. We finally ordered a Tiramisu Latte, Yemeni Latte, Honey Cake and a Coconut Basbousa. I would describe the Tiramisu Latte as a delicious dessert-in-a-cup! Perfectly balanced blend of rich espresso and smooth, creamy sweetness. I would highly recommend it. My partner enjoyed his Yemeni Latte and the desserts were spectacular. The outdoor seating area is a fabulous addition for the warmer months. This place is an absolute must visit! They also have plenty of parking

Qahwah House is an outstanding addition to the Capital Region! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, modern atmosphere that perfectly blends comfort with Yemeni hospitality. The coffee is exceptional—rich, aromatic, and unlike anything you’ll find at a typical coffee chain. The Adeni chai and specialty lattes are full of authentic flavors, and the pastries and desserts are fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing a great experience. Whether you’re meeting friends, studying, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee, this is the perfect place to unwind. It’s refreshing to have a family-friendly café that celebrates Yemeni coffee culture while creating a welcoming space for everyone. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back! ☕✨

We came across Qahwah House while looking for a coffee shop to meet some friends while in Albany. It was an amazing experience. Both the coffee/tea and pastries were delicious. I had a cup of Mofawar which was served in a beautiful mug while my friends shared a large pot of Adeni chai. Both were fantastic and paired well with honeycomb we got, which was a cheese and bread with honey drizzled on top. What makes this coffee shop great is the ample space to sit and enjoy time with friends in both 1:1 and large groups. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as WiFi, making it a great place to work as well. Next time will try either the affogato or teas as they are open late. Highly recommend if you are in the area for coffee and tea and will be visiting next time we are in town.

Stopped in for the first time last night and I can't wait to go back! I had the pistachio latte and honeycomb and both were incredible, the honeycomb is truly one of my favorite desserts now. The latte was wonderfully decadent and some of the best tasting coffee I've had in a long time, the flavor is bold and smooth at the same time. The interior is really beautiful and I really enjoyed hanging out there to drink my coffee. Definitely will be back 🙂

Great experience! Very good coffee. The iced pistachio latte was top notch! The service was exceptional. Very nice decor with a good atmosphere to hang or work. There's plenty of parking. This is the most expensive coffee that I've had in the capital district. Was 10.26 for a large. The location is tough because it could require multiple u-turns due to the middle barrier. I would definitely go back but for the price it could never be my go to daily spot.
